Milo

A personal operating system for intent.

Milo keeps your goals, tasks and notes in one place on your own computers, and does the work you hand it.

How it works

What's in it

The first screen of the Milo app on a Mac. A rail on the left lists Home, Today, Goals, Projects, Tasks, Milo, Work, Mind, Spaces, Activity and Settings. The page says: Nothing needs you right now. Below it sit a Speak button and a field to ask Milo.

ADHD and executive-function supports

Yours. Private.

Yours.

Your notes are plain files on your own computer.

Private.

Nothing readable leaves your devices when they meet. AI in the cloud reads only what you open to it.

Voice first.

Talk to Milo, or type.

Nothing to remember.

No account, no password of Milo's, no address to keep.

Where Milo runs

  • TodayA Mac with macOS 14 or later, with an Apple or Intel chip.
  • LaterA computer with Omarchy 4.
  • LaterThe phone page: an iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
  • LaterYour other computers. If you use more than one, they meet through a locked meeting place that can't read them.

How it works

1

Dump your head.

Say or type everything on your mind. Milo sorts it into tasks, notes and plans.

WHAT MATTERS NOW

What matters now

The Home screen of the app. The label WHAT MATTERS NOW sits above one task in large type, with a Start button and a Not now button.

3

Milo noticed something. Nothing for you to do.

All is well.

The Care screen of the app. It says Care checked Milo, with the time, and: All is well.

Two promises

Privacy

Milo keeps your notes on your own devices. If you use more than one, they meet through a locked meeting place that can't read them. It can see how many devices you have, when they meet, how big the pieces are and their network addresses. Never a title or a word of your text. If you let Milo use AI in the cloud, that AI reads what you open to it, and nothing you marked private. Your notes and tasks work with no internet. Milo's online help needs it.
